Cooper's Cove/White-tail Ridge
Woodland Ecology Watch for Bald Eagles, Wild Turkey, and a variety of hawks and woodpeckers. Whitetail Ridge is open for hunting with most activity occurring during deer, wild turkey, and pheasant seasons. Location Description On the east side of the road, hike Whitetail Ridge that runs along Lizard Creek. On the west side, stroll across an historic keystone bridge under majestic oaks and descend to an overview by a secluded pond before spending the night in the campground complete with new shower house. Driving Directions and other Information Drive 7 miles E of Palmer on C56 and one-half mile south on 330th Ave.
