Yager Slough

Yager Slough is located just to the southeast of the large Dug Out Creek Waterfowl Production Area. The slough can be seen easily from the road and is a place where visitors can view waterfowl from the comfort of their vehicle.

Pothole Birding

These large marshes produced six Trumpeter Swan cygnets in 2003, making it the first successful nesting site in Dickinson County. Good migratory waterfowl viewing in the spring and fall. Pheasants reside in the upland area.
